The Southern African Botanical Products Association (SABPA) will be hosting a Symposium on Commercialization, Market Access, and Sustainable Supply Chain for Botanicals at the joint meeting of the 23rd International Congress of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology (ISE) & the 2nd International Congress of the African Phytomedicine Scientific Society (APSS). The joint conference is taking place at Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa from 23-26 October 2024.
The Symposium has attracted sponsorship from herbal medicinal companies locally and abroad and has an interesting line up of speakers with Prof. Paula Brown (British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada), Prof. Joanne Barnes (University of Auckland, NZ), Prof. Alvaro Viljoen (Tshwane University of Technology) and Prof. Rachel Wynberg (University of Cape Town) amongst many others already confirmed.
